• November 5, 2026 Retakes: instant defuse when no grenade is stopping it With the 5 November update, a defuse in Retakes now finishes instantly when there is enough time left in the round and no active utility is in the way.
• November 5, 2026 Grenade crosshair now works during freeze time Since the 30 September update, CS2 shows the grenade crosshair during freeze time: pick up a grenade and hold either throw button.
